We have been seeing school shooting tragedies and violence increasing across the county in the last few years. There are approximately 55 million elementary and secondary school students in public and nonpublic schools and approximately 19 million more students in Colleges and Universities within the United States.
The safety of our innocent children, young adults, teachers, and administrative staff is a priority. We must continuously plan and train to prevent and address these terrible events and emergencies.
