Albert S. Becker is the Founder and CEO of Ivy Plus Associates, LLC. He is a skilled leader with a diverse background. He specializes in bringing talented experts together to form great teams to efficiently address Higher Education, Corporate and Governmental concerns.
Al spent the last six years as the Executive Director of Finance and Administration for the Columbia University Department of Public Safety. Prior to that Al spent 25 years with the NYPD retiring as a Deputy Inspector where he held many leadership and command positions involving patrol and administrative assignments as well as command of criminal and internal investigations. In addition to Al’s work with the NYPD and Columbia University, he founded and operated two businesses in the training and consulting space for over 20 years.
Al graduated from the FBI National Academy and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Weapons of Mass Destruction Incident Commanders School. Al earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. John’s University, and an MBA in Accounting from Baruch College.
